According to the 2019 Annual Business Survey (ABS), approximately 18.3% of all U.S. businesses are minority-owned. And of that number, 99.9% of minority-owned businesses are small businesses.

But against this backdrop of small business activity, it can sometimes be challenging to distinguish minority-owned businesses from the rest — especially in the ecommerce world.

To elevate the awareness of these online businesses, we’re providing digital badges (examples below) that eligible brands can append to their dynamic ads and email creatives via AdRoll.

Minority-Owned Digital Badges

Starting June, eligible businesses will see the business badge option in the “Ad Creation” and “Email Creation Flow” sections of their dashboard. For additional instructions, check out our Help Center article to learn more

NextRoll’s mission has always been to reduce the barriers to starting a business for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion, or otherwise. We hope that this feature will help minority-owned businesses reach new customers and allow shoppers to discover, follow, and support these brands.
