Introducing… Brand Rolls!

Today Adroll is excited to introduce a revolutionary new feature, Brand Rolls. Ok, “revolutionary” might be a little strong given recent world events, but it’s certainly unique to the world of online advertising.

A Brand Roll is a community of sites built around a specific advertiser. It is the only product available that lets online advertisers build custom ad networks specific to their brand. Traditionally, ad networks present advertisers with a set of publisher-oriented verticals, channels, or categories. However, every online advertiser wants to reach a slightly different audience that doesn’t necessarily fit perfectly into one of these verticals. By starting with the advertiser, Brand Rolls allow advertisers to run campaigns and even directly communicate with exactly the types of sites they want. This creates a unique opportunity to “influence the influencers” and get their brand and products in front of the right audience in the most compelling way.

Advertisers can create a Brand Roll for free by connecting with sites that are hand pick from the Adroll.com online directory. Also, publishers can participate in the process by requesting membership to Brand Rolls of advertisers that are relevant to their audience. This helps advertisers find great sites that they might not have known about, and allows publishers to initiate relationships with advertisers that are well suited for their audience.

Once an advertiser has created a Brand Roll, they can see both individual site and aggregate audience data for participating publishers such as impressions, uniques, reputation, and ad space quality. Advertisers can also easily set up campaigns across their Brand Roll and even communicate directly with participating publishers by making a post to their private Brand Roll forum.

You can see what the advertiser’s private view looks like below, and can learn more about Brand Rolls in our Help section. Feel free to send an email to info (at) adroll (dot) com if you have any questions that remain unanswered.

Happy Rolling!
